चयन प्रक्रिया एवं परीक्षा पैटर्न
Selection Process
1 Selection will be on the basis of a merit list prepared from all candidates who apply.
2 The merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade.
3 The panel will be based on the simple average of marks in matriculation and ITI.
4 In case of two candidates having the same marks, the candidate with older age shall be preferred. If dates of birth are also same, the candidate who passed matriculation exam earlier shall be considered first.
5 A final merit list will be prepared trade-wise and community-wise, equal to the number of slots in descending order of percentage of marks.
6 Document Verification.

1 Candidates are required to apply ONLINE by visiting www.rcf.indianrailways.gov.in.
2 Log on to the RCF website and fill up personal details/BIO-DATA carefully.
3 Ensure name, father's name, date of birth exactly match matriculation or equivalent certificate.
4 Indicate active mobile number and valid e-mail ID in the ONLINE application.
5 Avoid submitting more than one application; all such applications will be summarily rejected.
6 Keep printout of the application for Document Verification.
7 Upload passport size coloured photograph (3.5cm x 3.5cm, not older than three months, JPG/JPEG format, 100 PDI, size 20kb-70kb, clear front view, without cap and sunglasses).
8 Upload signature (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, JPG/JPEG format, 100 DPI, size 20kb-30kb).
9 Pay the application fee online after 02 days (Two working days) through the payment gateway.
10 Submit the complete ONLINE application by 05.09.2026 till 24.00 hours. No physical copy of the application is required to be sent.
