Educational Qualification
  • Refer to the detailed qualification criteria for each trade/subject as mentioned in the advertisement.
  • For CITS trades, specific qualifications include B.Voc/Degree or Diploma with CITS and relevant experience, or Ex-serviceman with specific service and training, or NTC/NAC with CITS and relevant experience.
  • For CTS trades, specific qualifications are mentioned for Solar Technician (Electrical) and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician.

Selection Process
1 Selection will be made on the basis of written and skill test.
2 Tentative examination date of written and skill test will be published on institute website & e-mail.
3 Call letter for examination will be sent through email to the eligible candidates.
How To Apply Online
आवेदन कैसे करें
1 Read the official notification carefully before applying.
2 Download the prescribed application format from the institute website or use the one provided in the notification (Page 6-7).
3 Fill all entries in CAPITAL LETTERS in the application form.
4 Attach self-attested photocopies of all Certificates and Mark sheets.
5 Affix a recent passport size colour photograph (self-attested on the front) and enclose 02 additional photographs.
6 Clearly mention 'Application for Guest Faculty in..........(CTS / CITS) trade / subject' on the top of the envelope.
7 Send the completed application form along with enclosures by post or by hand to 'The Deputy Director/Training Incharge, National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), P.O-Udyog Nagar, Kanpur-208022' on or before 03 August 2026 up to 05:30 PM.
8 Ensure minimum age of 21 years as on 01 August 2026.
9 Applicants are suggested to apply for only one post.
