The Manipur Staff Selection Commission (MSSC) has released an advertisement (No. 02/2026) for the recruitment of 80 Special Primary Teachers in the Education (S) Department. Applications are invited online from 31st July 2026 to 20th August 2026 for eligible candidates who meet the specified educational qualifications and age criteria.

Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit
- Minimum Age : 18 Years
- Maximum Age : 38 Years
- Upper age limit is relaxable for Government servants (extent of continuous service), SC/ST (+5 years), OBC (+3 years).
Educational Qualification
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must be able to speak Manipuri or any of the Tribal dialect of Manipur.
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Manipur (or parent/ancestors are permanent residents of the State, with proper documentary proof).
- 10+2 (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks from a recognized University/Board OR 10+2 (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks from a recognized University/Institution/Board in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
- D.Ed. in Special Education from RCI approved Institute and possess a valid RCI CRR number OR D.El.Ed. with recognized qualification (Certificate/Diploma RCI marks effort to design and conduct such training programme through its approved institution for in service/pre-service general teachers from a RCI approved institution equivalent to D.Ed. in Special Education and possess a valid RCI CRR number.
- 6 months training of teaching in cross disability area in inclusive education (if the proposed programme is not available, the same may be dropped from the qualifications with a condition that the recruited with D.Ed Special Education or Equivalent qualifications have to compulsorily undergo aforesaid training as soon as the same is conducted).
- Passed in the Teacher Eligibility Test-1 (TET-1) conducted by the State Govt. or any other agency approved by NCTE).

Eligibility Criteria (Hindi)
- उम्मीदवार भारत का नागरिक होना चाहिए।
- उम्मीदवार मणिपुरी या मणिपुर की किसी भी आदिवासी बोली को बोलने में सक्षम होना चाहिए।
- उम्मीदवार मणिपुर का स्थायी निवासी होना चाहिए (या माता-पिता/पूर्वज राज्य के स्थायी निवासी हों, उचित दस्तावेजी प्रमाण के साथ)।
- मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय/बोर्ड से कम से कम 50% अंकों के साथ 10+2 (या समकक्ष) या मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय/संस्थान/बोर्ड से कम से कम 45% अंकों के साथ 10+2 (या समकक्ष), एनसीटीई (मान्यता मानदंड और प्रक्रिया) विनियम, 2002 के अनुसार।
- आरसीआई (RCI) द्वारा अनुमोदित संस्थान से विशेष शिक्षा में डी.एड. (D.Ed.) और एक वैध आरसीआई सीआरआर (CRR) नंबर होना चाहिए या आरसीआई द्वारा अनुमोदित संस्थान से डी.एल.एड. (D.El.Ed.) के साथ मान्यता प्राप्त योग्यता (प्रमाण पत्र/डिप्लोमा) होनी चाहिए जो विशेष शिक्षा में डी.एड. के बराबर हो और एक वैध आरसीआई सीआरआर नंबर होना चाहिए।
- समावेशी शिक्षा में क्रॉस डिसेबिलिटी क्षेत्र में शिक्षण का 6 महीने का प्रशिक्षण (यदि प्रस्तावित कार्यक्रम उपलब्ध नहीं है, तो इसे योग्यताओं से हटाया जा सकता है, इस शर्त के साथ कि डी.एड. विशेष शिक्षा या समकक्ष योग्यता वाले भर्ती वालों को जैसे ही यह प्रशिक्षण आयोजित किया जाएगा, उसे अनिवार्य रूप से पूरा करना होगा)।
- राज्य सरकार या एनसीटीई द्वारा अनुमोदित किसी अन्य एजेंसी द्वारा आयोजित शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा-1 (TET-1) उत्तीर्ण की हो।

Note: Questions will be of MCQ type, carrying 1 mark each. There shall be no negative marking for incorrect answers. For PwD candidates using a scribe, 100 minutes (20 minutes per hour extra time) shall be provided.

1 Candidates must be sponsored by the concerned employment exchanges of Manipur to be eligible to apply online.
2 Register on the portal using parameters matching your Employment Exchange sponsorship credentials, then log in using your User ID and password.
3 Fill the application form accurately with profile parameters (Name, DOB, Category, Language, RCI CRR status, Government Service NOC if applicable).
4 Upload photo, scanned documents, and signature. Accept the mandatory qualification validation declaration checkbox.
