Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit
- Minimum Age : 18 Years
- Maximum Age : 40 Years
- Additional age relaxation will be provided to other categories as per the Karnataka Civil Services (General Recruitment) Rules, 1977 (as amended from time to time).
Educational Qualification
- Must have passed LL.B from recognized University.
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- A male candidate having more than one living wife and a female candidate already married to a person who has another wife shall not be eligible for appointment without obtaining the prior approval from the Government.
- The candidate, who is not claiming any relaxation under benchmark disability, should be mentally and physically fit and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with efficient performance of the duties.
- A person who has been permanently debarred from examination or recruitment conducted by the Central or the State of Karnataka or other State Public Service Commission or Karnataka Examinations Authority or any University, will not be eligible for appointment.
- A person who has been convicted for an offence involving moral turpitude or who has been temporarily debarred or disqualified from examinations or requirements conducted by the Central or Karnataka State or any other State Public Service Commission or Karnataka Examinations Authority or any University shall not be eligible for appointment until the Government/ Competent Authority holds him/ her eligible for appointment.
- There shall be no pending criminal case/s against the candidate.

2 Fill all particulars and make payment of fee as per instructions. Application once submitted cannot be modified.
3 Provide Postal Address, Mobile number and valid e-mail ID mandatorily.
4 Scan latest passport size photograph (5 cm length X 3.5 cm breadth, 50kb to 200kb) and signature (2.5 cm length X 7.5 cm breadth, 25kb to 50kb) in JPG format.
5 Compulsorily provide Aadhaar Card Number, SSLC/10th Standard Registration Number, LL.B Marks Card, Caste Certificate and Income details (if applicable), and Details of Certificate of reservation for Kalyana Karnataka Region (i.e., Local Cadre Article 371-J).
