Age Limit
  • Minimum Age : 18 years
  • Maximum Age : 33 years
  • Up to 10 years (Male, General Category), 15 years (Female, General Category), 15 years (Male, Reserved Category), 20 years (Female, Reserved Category) for Disabled Candidates.
Educational Qualification
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering obtained from an Institutions recognised by the Government or any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognised as such or declared to be deemed as University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; OR posses an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government: Provided that the candidate holding Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering shall not be eligible to apply.
  • Have passed one/two years Surveyor course from the Industrial Training Institute recognised by the Government.
  • Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
  • Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

  • सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थानों या भारत में केंद्रीय या राज्य अधिनियम द्वारा स्थापित या निगमित किसी भी विश्वविद्यालय से सिविल इंजीनियरिंग में डिप्लोमा; या ऐसे किसी अन्य शैक्षणिक संस्थान से जिसे मान्यता प्राप्त हो या जिसे विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा-3 के तहत विश्वविद्यालय माना गया हो; या सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त कोई समकक्ष योग्यता: बशर्ते कि सिविल इंजीनियरिंग में स्नातक की डिग्री रखने वाले उम्मीदवार आवेदन करने के पात्र नहीं होंगे।
  • सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थान से एक/दो साल का सर्वेयर कोर्स पास किया हो।
  • गुजरात सिविल सेवा वर्गीकरण और भर्ती (सामान्य) नियम, 1967 में निर्धारित कंप्यूटर एप्लीकेशन का बुनियादी ज्ञान।
  • गुजराती या हिंदी या दोनों का पर्याप्त ज्ञान।
