The Indian Army invites applications from eligible unmarried Male Engineering Graduates for the 66th Short Service Commission (Tech) Men course, commencing in April 2026. A total of 350 vacancies are available, with online applications opening on 24 July 2025 and closing on 22 August 2025.

- Minimum Age : 20 Years

- Candidates born between 01 Apr 1999 and 31 Mar 2006, both days inclusive.
Educational Qualification
- Unmarried Male Engineering Graduates of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army.
- Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply.
- Candidates studying in the final year of Engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing Engineering Degree Examination alongwith marksheets of all semesters/years by 01 Apr 2026 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA).
- ALL FINAL YEAR APPEARING CANDIDATES WHOSE FINAL YEAR/FINAL SEMESTER EXAM WILL BE SCHEDULED AFTER 01 APR 2026 ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS COURSE.
- Cumulative percentage of marks upto final semester/ year is not less than the approved cut off percentage.
- Candidates must note that only the Engineering streams and their acceptable equivalent streams, strictly as notified in the table in the notification, will be accepted.

Eligibility Criteria (Hindi)
- भारतीय सेना में शॉर्ट सर्विस कमीशन (SSC) के लिए अविवाहित पुरुष इंजीनियरिंग ग्रेजुएट।
- वे उम्मीदवार जिन्होंने आवश्यक इंजीनियरिंग डिग्री कोर्स पास कर लिया है या जो इंजीनियरिंग डिग्री कोर्स के अंतिम वर्ष में हैं, वे आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं।
- इंजीनियरिंग डिग्री कोर्स के अंतिम वर्ष में पढ़ रहे उम्मीदवारों को 01 अप्रैल 2026 तक सभी सेमेस्टर/वर्षों की मार्कशीट के साथ इंजीनियरिंग डिग्री परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने का प्रमाण प्रस्तुत करने में सक्षम होना चाहिए और प्री-कमीशनिंग ट्रेनिंग एकेडमी (PCTA) में प्रशिक्षण शुरू होने की तारीख से 12 सप्ताह के भीतर इंजीनियरिंग डिग्री सर्टिफिकेट प्रस्तुत करना होगा।
- सभी अंतिम वर्ष के उम्मीदवार जिनकी अंतिम वर्ष/अंतिम सेमेस्टर की परीक्षा 01 अप्रैल 2026 के बाद निर्धारित है, वे इस कोर्स के लिए आवेदन करने के पात्र नहीं हैं।
- अंतिम सेमेस्टर/वर्ष तक अंकों का कुल प्रतिशत अनुमोदित कट ऑफ प्रतिशत से कम नहीं होना चाहिए।
- उम्मीदवारों को ध्यान देना चाहिए कि केवल इंजीनियरिंग स्ट्रीम और उनके स्वीकार्य समकक्ष स्ट्रीम, जैसा कि अधिसूचना में तालिका में सख्ती से अधिसूचित किया गया है, ही स्वीकार किए जाएंगे।

Selection Process
1 Shortlisting of Applications based on the vacancy to call up ratio for each Engineering discipline/stream and cumulative percentage of marks.
2 SSB Interview (Two stage selection procedure: Stage-1 and Stage-2).
3 Medical examination for candidates recommended after Stage-2.
4 Merit List preparation based on SSB interview marks.
5 Issuance of Joining Letter for training in order of merit, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.
