  • Maximum Age : 37 Years (Unreserved Male)
  • Age relaxation as per Govt rules: Backward Class & Extremely Backward Class (Male & Female) 40 years, Unreserved (Female) 40 years, SC & ST (Male & Female) 42 years. 5 years for Bihar State Health Service cadre members. 10 years for PWD candidates.
Educational Qualification
  • Post-graduate degree in the concerned subject as per NMC's "Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions Regulations, 2025".
  • DNB / DNB Super Speciality is also considered valid.
  • Diploma holders may be considered if suitable PG degree holders are unavailable, but will be ranked lower.
  • Equivalent PG degree holders as per MCI teacher eligibility are also eligible.
  • Candidates who have already completed a three-year Senior Resident/Tutor Tenure in the same subject are not eligible to apply again for the same subject.
  • Students who completed PG degree/diploma under a three-year bond (Health Department, Bihar Government order no. 91(17) dated 27.01.2023) and have not been posted as Senior Resident/Tutor in medical colleges/hospitals are allowed to apply, subject to recommendation from controlling officer and departmental NOC.
