• Minimum 2nd Class Launch Driving Certificate issued by proper authority (Director of Ports & Inland Water Transport, Odisha). |

• Crew Training completion certificate from Crew Training Institute. |
| For both posts |
• Must pass a swimming test in river, canal or any running water body for a distance of 200mtrs. in 20 minutes. |
